Antioch University Midwest is offering a Workshop on Conflict in the Workplace on June 16, 2017, in Yellow Springs, OH. The one day course will run from 9 am to 5 pm with pre-readings available for participants.
Conflict in the workplace can decrease productivity, increase daily tension, lead to missed deadlines, and create long-term harm to workplace relationships. With basic conflict management skills, colleagues can learn to resolve basic conflicts that might otherwise escalate while maintaining workplace relationships.
Workshop participants will learn to utilize practical strategies to address conflict in any workplace and learn the basic elements of a variety of skills including effective communication strategies, group facilitation, negotiation, and mediation. Role plays and hands-on learning matched with a variety of resources will leave participants more equipped to deal with the inevitable conflicts that arise leading to increased productivity and a positive workplace.
Registration is online and ends June 11th. The cost is $75 per participant.
